Bondi to Bronte & Sculptures by the Sea

On Sunday afternoon AJ & Jacqui picked me up at Rose Bay, and we headed over to Bondi Beach. There's a cliff walk between Bondi & Bronte beach that had gorgeous views, but the past two weeks, they've also had Sculptures by the Sea set up along the walk. There were more than 100 sculptures up, and I posted quite a few of my favorites below, but head here if you'd like to see all the exhibits: http://sculpturebythesea.com/
View of Bondi Beach - Bondi in the foreground - North Bondi in the background.
Icebergs - beautiful restaurant, bar and exclusive members-only pool, ala Soho House in the City. The pool has salt water, due to the waves washing up on the cliffs..and I guess they also get the occasional string way and jelly fish in the pool. :)

The artist of the 1st sculpture along the walk is one of Jake's friends from work at M&C Saatchi - The Straw.

The Eyes in the side of the cliff
The view, looking back at Bondi about 1/2 way through the walk - lots of people out!
Some of the flowers along the cliff.

Took this one for Megs.
My favorite of the day - it spun in the wind
Dominoes.
'A toy house' - made out of all vintage toys - AJ walked around it and took a trip down memory lane. :)
Pinwheel.

Flags on top of the cliff.
Houses on the North shore of Bondi.
Ravesi's - we went here to grab a pre-dinner drink. Nat used to work here when she was younger. :)
The group at Ravesi's - overlooking the beach - GREAT place for people watching (quite a few characters out in Bondi). AJ, Jacq, Chris, Jen & I. Dinner at Hurricane's - famous rib house in Bondi. We were all geared up, bibs et al. Chris, seated next to me, went to primary school with Nat, and we found out that his sister was a P&G Iams & Eukanuba client, which is the client I work on at Saatchi NY. One small world encounter after another over here!
AJ - 1st to finish his whole rack of ribs - not sure if the look on his face is one of victory or anguish? ;)
Thanks for a great day at Bondi!!
