Bondi to Bronte & Sculptures by the Sea

On Sunday afternoon AJ & Jacqui picked me up at Rose Bay, and we headed over to Bondi Beach. There's a cliff walk between Bondi & Bronte beach that had gorgeous views, but the past two weeks, they've also had Sculptures by the Sea set up along the walk. Icebergs - beautiful restaurant, bar and exclusive members-only pool, ala Soho House in the City. The pool has salt water, due to the waves washing up on the cliffs..and I guess they also get the occasional string way and jelly fish in the pool. :)

The artist of the 1st sculpture along the walk is one of Jake's friends from work at M&C Saatchi - The Straw.

The group at Ravesi's - overlooking the beach - GREAT place for people watching (quite a few characters out in Bondi). AJ, Jacq, Chris, Jen & I. Dinner at Hurricane's - famous rib house in Bondi. We were all geared up, bibs et al. Chris, seated next to me, went to primary school with Nat, and we found out that his sister was a P&G Iams & Eukanuba client, which is the client I work on at Saatchi NY. One small world encounter after another over here!

AJ - 1st to finish his whole rack of ribs - not sure if the look on his face is one of victory or anguish? ;)
